bird, buried press is a small press located in Peterborough, Ontario.

Our focus is on publishing writers and artists from or living in Ontario. We publish three or more high quality chapbooks per calendar year. However, we are also interested in publishing broadsides, chapoems, and small book objects that fit our aesthetic, to ensure we are printing as many relevant voices as possible.

We have little to no funding (but you can help with that!), and will be publishing work as finances allow. But, what we lack in resources, we make up for in creativity and passion. Your work is just as important to our editorial team (who are also writers) as your work is to you. Send your work to us if you want it to be read with intent, and responded to in short order.

We want to hear from you. Send us your work now!
